Welcome back, Eric Abidal. The defender had been sidelined since February after an operation to remove a tumour in his liver, and and now he's back on the pitch at the Camp Nou. With the match won, Pep Guardiola chooses to introduce him for captain Carles Puyol, resulting in a minute-long standing ovation from the Barcelona faithful. That's a lovely touch by Guardiola.

Pedro's off now too after being landed on by Marcelo in an aerial battle, something nobody takes particularly seriously. He is substituted for Ibrahim Afellay, but the new face doesn't get to see any action: That's the last move of the match, the referee blowing his whistle thirty seconds early to send Barcelona into the Champions League final and Real Madrid crashing out. This was a pretty good match, if one devoid of much tension - it's a real shame that it wasn't the first leg!
