Former World Cup Player Starts Brawl At Youth Match

The natural thing for a former World Cup player to do is fight at a youth football match that his son is playing in, right? Apparently so, or at least that’s the path Daniel Borimirov has taken. The former Bulgarian international, who played in the 1994 World Cup, thought his son’s match was a good place to set a fantastic example for the kids. Some people just should not have children.

See that, kids? If you work hard and get really good at the sport then you too can play professionally, play in a World Cup and then fight in front of young kids! Dream big!

For those who need clarification, Borimirov really makes his mark at the 1:10 mark when he comes flying in with a sucker punch. He even sees his example paying off with a child following his lead by throwing a bottle.

It is not as if this is a complete surprise. Borimirov has a history of, well let’s just call it stupidity. His outbursts at referees during his playing days were legendary and he even spit in the face of a referee once. With a history like that isn’t it shocking to see him fighting like this?
