Man In A Cow Suit Scores The “First Goal” At LIVESTRONG Sporting Park

Last night, the latest soccer specific stadium in MLS opened its doors as Sporting Kansas City debuted their beautiful new home, LIVESTRONG Sporting Park. While the game itself wasn't the best 90 minutes of soccer you've ever seen, there where plenty of memorable highlights that Sporting KC employees, players and fans will remember for a lifetime...unfortunately, they won't all be positive.

You see, neither the home team or the visiting Chicago Fire could find the net on Thursday night, so it fell to another participant to break in the nets at the new stadium.

No, your eyes did not deceive you, that’s someone in a cow suit making a blinding run down the center of the Chicago defense and scoring the “first goal” in LIVESTRONG Sporting Park history. Sadly for this knucklehead their goal will not count and they are more likely to be public enemy number one, at least in the Kansas City soccer community.

Aside from the fact pitch invasions are never a good idea and shouldn’t be condoned, it was quite the run and goal really. Not a bad celebration either.
