Villarreal manager Juan Carlos Garrido has admitted that should a good offer be presented for star forward Giuseppe Rossi, the team will likely sell the Italian. Garrido told AS that if the right off came along that his club would accept it and begin the process of finding replacement players.
Villarreal Will Sell Giuseppe Rossi For The Right Price
Rossi has been repeatedly linked with Barcelona over the past couple weeks and negotiations between the clubs are believed to be well underway. Rossi's agent Federico Pastorello also spoke with AS yesterday and confirmed that negotiations are on-going between the two clubs, but as expected, Barcelona have remained quiet up to this point. Rossi has said publicly that he would love to play for the Catalan club.
Villarreal claims that no acceptable bid for Rossi has been received with seems to contradict Jaime Redknapp’s tweet last week claiming that the Yellow Submarine had rejected a £27 million bid for the forward. Whatever the case, the price tag for Rossi is expected to fall somewhere between €25 to €30 million.
