So does someone want to explain why Ashley Young wasn't starting again? England are level early in the second half and it's a brilliant strike from the Aston Villa man, who came in for Frank Lampard at halftime, with England switching to a 4-4-1-1. James Milner whips in a lovely cross for Leighton Baines to latch onto, and the Everton left back (who came on for Ashley Cole midway through the first half) laid it off to Young via his chest, allowing the substitute to cream the ball first time from the edge of the box, bouncing the ball off Diego Benaglio's left-hand post to make the score 2-2.
England Vs. Switzerland: Ashley Young Scores Early In 2nd Half, 2-2 At Wembley
England have been much better in the second half, but still don’t look good enough to pull off a win here. With Capello already comitting two substitutes to the fray, there isn’t a lot he can do to change things further. He’ll just have to hope that Young continues to have a strong influence on the match
