MIroslav Klose has wasted no time finding a new club after failing to come to an agreement with Bayern Munich.
Miroslav Klose Signs With Lazio
Today on their official website, Lazio announced that they have signed the German international. Klose made it clear that he wanted at least a two year contract. Bayern were only willing to offer a one year deals, but the Serie A club gave Klose the deal he wanted.
Klose, who turns 33 years old on June 9, was never able to replicate his Werder Bremen goal scoring form for Bayern Munich. He managed to score 24 goal in 98 appearances for the Bayern after netting 53 goals in 89 matches for Bremen.
Lazio will spend next season competing on three fronts with Serie A, Coppa Italia, and the Europa League. They’ll be able to add the veteran player to their forward rotation that includes Mauro Zarate, Libor Kozák, Sergio Floccari, and Tommaso Rocchi.
