USA And Mexico To Renew Rivalry In August 10 Friendly

The match will be played at Lincoln Financial Field at 9 pm ET and will be broadcast live on ESPN2 and Univision in the United States. It will be the first time since 2008 that the U.S. and Mexico meet in a friendly, although they have played in two World Cup qualifiers and two Gold Cup finals since. Belgium are ranked 35th in the world by FIFA, but with Remelu Lukaku and Eden Hazard they are considered to have some of the best young players in the world to go along with one of the best centerbacks around in Vincent Kompany. They currently sit second in Group A for Euro 2012 qualifying, which would net them a spot in a two-legged playoff to make the final tournament if they hold on.

There are two FIFA international dates in September, with the September 6 match being the second match of a double date. The U.S. can also play a match the preceding weekend, likely either on September 2 or 3.
