The match is still scoreless more than an hour in and Brazil could well be in some trouble now. Paraguay are getting back into the game a little bit, and that development has coincided with Brazilian centre half Thiago Silva starting to favour his previously injured thigh. The leadup to the match focused on the possiblity of Thiago Silva being unable to start, and it wouldn't be a huge surprised if he ended up being force to the bench before too much longer, which would obviously a major blow to the team.
Copa America 2011 Quarterfinals, Brazil Vs. Paraguay: Paulo Henrique Ganso Denied By Justo Villar
That said, up front things are a different story, and the hitherto fairly quiet Paulo Henrique Ganso has just come within a fingertip of giving the favourites a deserved leave, picking up the ball on the edge of the area and hammering a powerful shot through a crowd of players towards Justo Villar's left-hand post. The goalkeeper, who was unsighted, somehow managed to get across in time to brush the ball onto the upright and out for a corner - that was a very good save, and it's the only reason the game is still at 0-0.
