UEFA Champions League: Villarreal Downed By Odense, Dinamo Zagreb Slaughter Malmo
Wisla Krakow napped to a 1-0 win over Cypriot outfit APOEL Nicosia thanks to a 71st minute goal by Patryk Malecki. Nothing else happened in this match.
Three second-half goals led Dinamo Zagreb past a fairly miserable Malmo side after the teams had traded scores in the first half. Jorge Cruz Campos netted twice for the home side, including a second half penalty to put Zagreb up 3-1, and Ante Rukavina and Fatos Beciraj completed the scoring. Malmo’s Agon Mehmeti got an away goal, but it’s probably not going to be enough.

While the Bayern Munich vs. FC Zurich match is the big draw in terms of today’s Champions League action, there’s a fair few lesser-known teams than Bayern going at it today for a chance to make it to domestic football’s biggest stage. Unfortunately, some of these teams are lesser-known because they’re really quite boring.
0-0 at half time in what is by most accounts a horrendous match. ESPN isn’t tracking the stats for the game, but I would suggest that even if they were you wouldn’t see too many differences in the shots column.
