Step Aside, Pep and Jose: Paul Tisdale Has Your Style Sense Beat

Many, many words have been written about the polished perfection of Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola. Matches between Real Madrid and Barcelona are often accompanied by an informal style-off, in which the two rivals compete to show who the best dressed of the touchline really is.

But during the first leg of the Supercup, Mou showed up in a golf shirt, and looked to be a little fluffy around the middle. Pep, meanwhile, was rocking a short-sleeved white shirt and a narrow black tie. By “rocking,” of course, I mean, “looking like he’d like to sell you an extended warranty.”

It’s time, then, for the wonderduo to step aside and let this man show them how it’s done:

The man in the hat is Paul Tisdale, manager for England League One side Exeter City. That’s his “Snowy in Siberia” look, but a quick google search will also show the “Polished to Perfection,“ the ”I’m A Man Capable Of Mixing Patterns,“ and the ever-popular ”I Just Stepped Off My Yacht” looks.

Bring your game to the touchline tonight, gentlemen. Tisdale is about to plant the soles of his Ted Baker loafers firmly atop both your heads.
