Cesc Fabregas has entered the UEFA Super Cup for FC Barcelona in the 80th minute, replacing Pedro, which is about par for the course. The former captain and superstar of Arsenal FC is now the backup to Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta (welcome home!), and will probably spending a whole lot of time on the bench this season. I'm aware that this isn't news, but it's still incredibly fun to mention every single time a 100 percent fit Cesc Fabregas enters a competitive match against a good opponent as a substitute. You know, because he's Cesc Fabregas.

Porto have created a couple of half chances on the counter-attack, but for the most part it’s been a dull half of football. Barcelona are doing a good job of keeping the ball as always, but they haven’t been as ambitious with it as they usually are. Unsurprisingly, Porto aren’t doing an awesome job of winning it back.
