Oh dear, that's terrible news for Danny Welbeck, who was making a strong case for keeping both Javier Hernandez and Dimitar Berbatov on the bench. Welbeck who's already scored against a hilariously makeshift Arsenal side, was running around very happily harrassing and harangueing the visiting defence, but on a long ball forward just after the half hour mark the England under-21 international suddenly pulled up lame, clutching him hamstring, and fell to the ground.

it looks very much like a fairly serious injury, and Welbeck is clearly unable to play on - Chicharito comes on to replace him. Hopefully it's not a tear and the 20-year-old is able to get back up and running without missing too many games. Awful luck for poor Welbeck. Meanwhile, Andrei Arshavin is lucky not to have been sent off for a ludicrous sliding challenge on Ashley Young while already booked in the leadup to that play. Silly from the Russian.
