Neil Warnock has taken a magical time machine back to 2006, a wonderful and magical time in which left back/left winger Armand Traore was one of the most highly touted youngsters in world football. Surely that’s the best way to explain Queens Park Rangers signing the French youth international from Arsenal FC for a rumored £3 million. Traore has signed a three-year contract.
Armand Traore Moves From Arsenal To Queens Park Rangers
Neil Warnock has (supposedly) strengthened his squad by signing Armand Traore from Arsenal

Back in the day, Traore was thought to be the star left back of the future for Arsenal, but things have not panned out. He was passed in the pecking order by the much more promising Kieran Gibbs, who has deservedly taken over the starting left back spot at Arsenal. Traore was very unimpressive last season on loan to Juventus, where he was seen by the fans as lazy and tactically inept. At QPR, he should have every opportunity to prove that those characterizations were unfair.
