Maybe it's the fact that the United States just played Mexico in a meaningful game. Maybe it's a strange time for an international date. For whatever reason, ticket sales for Wednesday's friendly at Philadelphia Lincoln Financial Field are lagging. As of Monday, just about 23,000 tickets had been sold.
USA Vs. Mexico Friendly: Good Tickets Available For Less Than Face
Tickets are selling for about 70 percent of face value.
The bad news is there’s a pretty good chance the stadium is only going to be half full. The good news is that plenty of seats are still available, and you can even find them for well below face value. Through the SB Nation Ticket Center, you can get in for as little as $30 and you can find seats in the midfield for as cheap as $81. Considering those tickets retail for $43 and $115, respectively, that’s really not a bad deal.
While the game obviously lacks the meaning of the Gold Cup final or a World Cup qualifier, it is a chance to see Jurgen Klinsmann’s sideline debut for the Red, White and Blue.
