Take a look at the lineups Roma and Inter Milan decided to field for tonight's match. Just look at them. They suggest a wide open game. They suggest goals. They suggest a complete lack of defense and a smorgasbord of scoring chances. Instead, we have gotten precisely the opposite, as both teams are defending well and struggling to create shots. WHAT?

The biggest event of the first half was when Lucio kicked Roma keeper Maarten Stekelenburg in the head, temporarily knocking him unconscious. Needless to say, Stekelenburg was substituted out of the match.
Roma have suffered from a lack of width with this team selection, while Francesco Totti has been very poor early on. Going the other way, Javier Zanetti and Yuto Nagatomo have been fantastic down Inter's right. The visitors have been the slightly better side, but they haven't exactly created clear-cut chances. This one could easily go either way with the right adjustments in the second half.
