Fernando Torres is just...wow. He scored early in the second half of Chelsea's match against Manchester United to give some hope that the Blues could come back, but more so, that he can right the ship. The much-maligned striker finally got one in the goal and a good one at that, but then he does this. There aren't really words to explain it at this point. There are no excuses, reasons or anything of the sort. Just bewilderment. It makes you want to just go give Torres a hug.

It’s a shockingly incredible miss to the point that it is difficult to laugh at what should be a hilarious play. It’s comical to miss a shot like that, but with how bad it has gotten for Torres, you just feel bad for the guy. You just want him to get it together a little bit because things have sunk so low. Just...wow.
