Paris Saint-Germain Have Bid Accepted For Carlos Tevez, According To Report

According to the AFP, citing their sources at both Paris Saint-Germain and close to the Qatar Investment Authority ownership group, Manchester City has agreed to a fee with PSG for the transfer of Carlos Tevez. The out of favor Argentinian international striker has not played for the Citizens since September, which has led to the team actively trying to sell him this January. AFP is reporting that Tevez has not yet agreed to the deal.

The exact bid that PSG tabled isn’t known, but it was almost certainly more than the £20.7 million reportedly offered by Inter Milan. That is, assuming that a transfer bid was actually made by PSG and that City actually accepted it. The AFP report states that PSG will offer Tevez a three-and-a-half year contract, and it will probably be worth a lot of money.

Tevez was previously set to head to AC Milan, but that fell through because PSG were unable to complete a move for Milan's Alexandre Pato. Apparently, Leonardo and Carlo Ancelotti have decided to skip the whole striker carousel and just go get Tevez for themselves.
