Ajax vs. Manchester City, 2012 UEFA Champions League: Halftime score 1-1, Siem De Jong levels before the half
Ajax have had more of the possession, while City have attempted to play on the counter. Their goal came from Samir Nasri, who finished off a quick move started by Micah Richards. The City right back found James Milner in the center, and he laid out wide for Nasri, who placed an exquisite finish past Kenneth Vermeer.
Siem De Jong both scored and started the move to create Ajax's 45th minute equalizer. From deep in midfield, he sprayed a ball out wide to Ricardo van Rhijn, who played a low cross into the box. De Jong made a perfect run that wasn't tracked and placed an impressive finish past Joe Hart at the near post from 15 yards out.
