Bayern Munich beat Freiburg to maintain their lead atop the Bundesliga table while Bayer Leverkusen jumped into second place with a big win over Werder Bremen.
Gladbach impress against Wolfsburg

Lars BaronAfter back to back poor performances, Borussia Mönchengladbach put together a solid 90 minutes and came away 2-0 victors over Wolfsburg.
Gladbach jumped out to an early lead after only 11 minutes. Juan Arango ripped a volley into the corner net to give them a 1-0 lead. The goal is Arango’s fourth of the season to go along with his four assists. Of course, it was a spectacular goal.

Joern PollexGonzalo Castro put Leverkusen up 1-0 in the 31st minute when he pounced on a rebound spilled by Sebastian Mielitz from a Daniel Carvajal shot. Castro made it 2-0 just after halftime in the 52nd minute. He received a pass from Lars Bender and beat a few defenders before shooting past Mielitz.
Bremen quickly responded just minutes later when Nils Petersen headed in Aaron Hunt’s cross to put themselves right back into the match.
