Nürnberg received two goals from Hiroshi Kiyotake on the way to a 4-2 victory over Hoffenheim.

Hiroshi Kiyotake was the star of the show as Nürnberg picked up an important victory against Hoffenheim.

Kiyotake started the scoring after only six minutes. He sent a free kick into the penalty area, and it missed everyone before going into the back of the net past Hoffenheim goalkeeper Koen Casteels.
Hoffenheim equalized in the 33rd minute. Kevin Volland crossed the ball in from the left side, and Sven Schipplock headed it in past Raphael Schäfer.
It was beginning to look like the halftime whistle would blow with both sides level, but Nürnberg had other ideas. Casteels deflected a Timo Gebhart free kick off of the cross bar, and Per Nilsson headed it in for the 2-1 lead.
They made it 3-1 in the 69th minute when Sebastian Polter jumped on a bad pass by Marvin Compper and scored. Hoffenheim pulled one back in the 81st minute when Sejad Salihovic converted a penalty after Nilsson was judged to have handled the ball in the area.
Minutes later, Kiyotake made a great run from deep before curling a shot in off the post to make it 4-2 and put the game out of reach.
The win is only Nürnberg’s second in their last eleven matches. They moved into 13th place and 4 points out of the relegation zone. Hoffenheim are in 16th place, and three points behind Wolfsburg to get out of the drop zone.
