With Manchester United already having qualified and likely to rest players ahead of their crucial clash against Manchester City at the weekend, Cluj will at least have some hope that they will be facing a weakened opposition, but they will know that they still have a huge challenge ahead of them.
Cluj have already done remarkably well to qualify for the Europa League, the furthest they have ever gotten in Europe, but if they better Galatasaray’s result against Braga they could go one better.

Out: Anderson (hamstring), Antonio Valencia (hip), Nani (hamstring), Shinji Kagawa (knee). In doubt: Nemanja Vidic (knee).
CFR Cluj injuries and suspensions

Manchester United have Anderson to add to their other injury problems in Antonio Valencia, Nani, and Shinji Kagawa, which leaves them even lighter in midfield than usual. Nemanja Vidic was stated by Alex Ferguson to be in contention, but the Scot then insisted he would play no part against Manchester City in the weekend fixture, leaving his status unknown.
Cluj have Bakary Saré and striker Ronny unavailable for the game as longer-term absentees.
