Jose Molina has been sacked as manager of Villarreal after just barely over two months in charge at the club. Molina, previously the manager of the Villarreal C and B teams before he was hired as the senior team manager, took over the club in January following the sacking of Juan Carlos Garrido, who guided the Yellow Submarine to a European exit and a bottom-half La Liga place before the winter break.
Villarreal Fire Jose Molina
Jose Molina has been sacked after three consecutive losses. Villarreal are just three points above the relegation places.

Villarreal has not won since Feb. 12 and has lost their last three games. They find themselves in 17th place, only three points above the relegation zone. The losses of Santi Cazorla to Malaga and Giuseppe Rossi to injury lowered the club's expectations, but even with those issues to deal with, Villarreal have no business so close to the bottom three.
The Yellow Submarine lost 1-0 to Levante on Sunday before Molina was relieved of his duties.
