FC Dallas forward Blas Perez was suspended one game and fined an undisclosed amount by the MLS Disciplinary Committee for elbowing Jordan Harvey in Saturday's game. The incident occurred in the 29th minute and was apparently missed by the referee, as there was no card given nor even a foul called. Perez would ultimately earn a yellow card in the match, but not until the 75th minute when he fouled Sebastien LeToux.
Blas Perez Suspended 1 Game For Elbowing Jordan Harvey
FC Dallas forward Blas Perez suspended one game after elbowing Jordan Harvey during Saturday’s game against the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Perez will serve his suspension on Wednesday when FC Dallas hosts Real Salt Lake.
This is the 11th punishment and the eighth retroactive suspension the disciplinary committee has given out this year, further signaling an increased use of the tool that was first used extensively last year. Perez is the second FC Dallas player to be suspended, following Jair Benitez who was also suspended for an elbow earlier this season.
It has been reported that MLS will be handing down at least one more suspension, to Philadelphia Union coach Peter Nowak. It's unclear if any other suspensions will be announced for this weekend's games.
