Coming into this tie, Hannover 96 were slight underdogs, but they might be the slight favorites heading into the second leg on Thursday.

Arda Turan, Juanfran and Gabi are all injured for Atleti, while Hannover are coming off of an impressive 2-1 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach. Almost everyone is available for Hannover, with Lars Stindl a slight doubt.
