The soccer tilt between the United States and Canada are underway at BMO Field in Toronto. The stadium isn't quite full (three-quarters full would be generous), but the supporters groups are in full voice and doing their best to out-sing each other. Right now, the U.S. fans are just a bit louder, but there is plenty of time left so we'll re-evaluate in 90 minutes.
USA Vs. Canada: Match Underway In Toronto
This is a good chance for Canada to make a statement that they intend to actually compete for a spot in the World Cup after failing to make the final round of qualifying the last three World Cup cycles. They really do have something to prove here, which isn’t so true for the U.S. A loss would be embarrassing, but more than anything they need to make sure they keep building the team and style that Jurgen Klinsmann is trying to implement.
