USA Vs. Canada: No Changes In The Second Half

In another indication that the 11 players that the United States is playing tonight (with the exception of late scratch Fabian Johnson) will be the 11 that Jurgen Klinsmann starts in World Cup qualifying next week, the U.S. have not made any changes at halftime. The Americans have not been good (and that is being kind) so you would expect a substitution, but clearly this is Klinsmann's first XI and he wants them to get things going.

If the U.S. doesn't get any better soon, Jozy Altidore could get in the match, either for Herculez Gomez or for a midfielder, allowing the U.S. to play with two strikers and Donovan and Dempsey behind them. It would be, gasp, Bob Bradley-esque, but it would put more good attackers on the field. A seemingly defensive move, bringing on Maurice Edu, wouldn't be a bad idea either because it would allow Michael Bradley to get forward more.
