Euro 2012 Field Stormer Joins The Celebration

This seems to be a thing now. Where once field stormers and streakers just danced around and eluded security, now they're becoming part of the action. Not just the action, though: we've now seen multiple invaders join in on celebrations at big moments. The latest came right after the final Euro 2012 whistle, as Spain celebrated in a huddle on the pitch.

If you’ll recall, a fan made a beeline for the Mets’ dogpile following Johan Santana’s no-hitter just about a month ago -- the first in team history. But this man ... well, he was brazen.

Jumping into a Euro 2012 huddle is something new and different. He kind of succeeded, getting into the huddle for a moment, but paid the price. In fact, he may have been lucky security got him, lest he took a punch from an angry Xabi Alonso.

Good job, good effort, Mr. Field Stormer. You almost had it.
