Transfer season is open, but I don't think anyone saw this one coming. According to the BBC, Manchester United have apparently agreed to sell Korean midfield Park Ji-Sung to Queens Park Rangers:

This isn't a bad move for any of the parties concerned. Park's influence at Old Trafford had been diminishing steadily of late -- he'd been relegated to occasional defensive winger duties in recent seasons -- but he's still a very good player and QPR could certainly use the help. He might be leaving the chances of winning more trophies behind with a move to Loftus Road, but he'll be playing far more often and in a more important role. United, meanwhile, will be making a decent chunk of change from selling a bit-part player. Could this mean midfield reinforcements are coming for Sir Alex Ferguson?
The transfer isn’t quite final, because Park hasn’t agreed to personal terms, but if the BBC report is correct, expect this to get wrapped up in fairly short order.
