Swansea Sign Arsenal’s Kyle Bartley On Three-Year Deal
Swansea have announced that they have signed Arsenal’s Kyle Bartley on a permanent deal.

The youngster revealed that he had initially wished to go out on loan, but considered Swansea’s offer of a permanent deal “too good an opportunity to turn down.”
The 21-year-old also revealed that the playing style of the club and new manager Michael Laudrup were big attractions. “I do like to play football and play the game from the back, which is exactly how Swansea want to play, and that was a massive factor for me,” he said.
“We showed last year that we can compete, we’ve got another great manager in Michael Laudrup and we’re hoping that we can achieve the same things.”
The Stockport-born youth joined Arsenal from Bolton in 2007, becoming a key part of the Arsenal youth team before enjoying a successful spell on loan at Scottish side Rangers. He joins a host of new signings at the Liberty Stadium, including Chico Flores, Miku, and Jonathan de Guzman.
