League Cup Draw: Round 3

The draw for the third round of the Captial One Cup sees Newcastle travelling to Manchester United.

And the wheel continues to turn. The 3rd round draw for the League Cup has been completed, and this time the Premier League big boys are in action. All European-qualified sides had a bye to the third round, so this is where we can start seeing some really tasty draws. And lo and behold, we’ve got some.

Two of the aforementioned European sides have ended up against each other, with Manchester United set to host Newcastle in a match that should be pretty fantastic. There are also several all-Premier League affairs. Aston Villa have been handed a trip to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City, West Brom get Liverpool against in a rematch of their opening day fixture, and Wigan will be at Upton Park to face Sam Allardyce's West Ham.
