Chelsea have named David Luiz and Gary Cahill as their two centre-backs as they take on Stoke City, with veterans Frank Lampard and John Terry named as substitutes.

Oscar has also been handed a start in midfield for the Blues. The young Brazilian scored a sensational brace against Juventus in Chelsea's midweek Champions League fixture, and Roberto Di Matteo has decided that he is ready to start in the Premier League.

Stoke, meanwhile, start summer signings Charlie Adam, Steven N'Zonzi, and Geoff Cameron, with the American playing in defence for the Potters. Michael Owen once again gets a place on the bench, with Peter Crouch leading Stoke's attack and Jonathan Walters likely to play in behind him.
