Saer Sene appears to have suffered a rather horrific ankle injury following a tackle by Davy Arnaud. Replays of the incident showed the ankle turned in a very unnatural way, but no official word has been released on the extent of the injury.
Saer Sene suffers horrific ankle injury
New England Revolution forward goes down hard after tackle by Davy Arnaud.

The New England Revolution forward had just worked a nice 1-2 with Juan Agudelo and moved into the penalty area. Arnaud came through and kicked the ball away. But Sene's ankle also got caught under Arnaud on the followthrough. No foul was called.
Almost immediately, Arnaud and Sene’s teammates frantically motioned to the bench to call medical attention.
Sene had been enjoying a solid season in which he had five goals and five assists in about 1,200 minutes after returning from an ACL injury that cut his 2012 short. Sene had spent the bulk of his professional career playing in Germany’s fourth division before making the move to MLS, scoring 11 goals in his debut season.
