UEFA World Cup qualifying is through the group stage, with Belgium, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Russia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, England and Spain all clinching spots in Brazil, but there is still the playoffs left to go. While the qualified teams won their groups, the second-place teams have two legs to earn their place in the World Cup.
UEFA playoffs set for final four 2014 World Cup spots
The final four teams from Europe to make the World Cup will be determined by four two-legged playoffs in November.

Croatia, Portugal, Greece and Sweden will make up the seeded teams for the playoffs and France, Ukraine, Romania and Iceland are the non-seeds for the ties. The seeding is done by the FIFA rankings and the seeded teams will be drawn against the non-seeded teams on October 21 at the FIFA headquarters in Zürich, Switzerland.
Because there are nine groups for World Cup qualifying, one of the second-place teams does not qualify for the playoff and that unlucky team proved to be Denmark. They finished bottom of the second-place table and saw their World Cup dreams dashed.
The two-legged playoffs will take place on Nov. 15 and 19th. The remaining World Cup qualifiers from Africa and the two inter-confederation playoffs will also be decided on those dates.
