Newcastle United vs. Liverpool: Lineups
Newcastle take on Liverpool as the Reds bid to keep up their early season form against Alan Pardew’s erratic outfit.
Aly Cissokho and Glen Johnson are playing as wing-backs for the Reds, while Mamadou Sakho comes into central defence along with Kolo Toure and Martin Skrtel, with Daniel Agger absent. Steven Gerrard and Jordan Henderson comprise the pivot in midfield. Victor Moses starts in attacking midfield between the pivot and attack.
For Newcastle, Loic Remy gets a start in the centre, with Yoann Gouffran and Hatem Ben Arfa on the wings. Mike Williamson comes back into central defence for the Magpies, partnering Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa.
