Stoke City turned in another lackluster performance on Saturday, but Asmir Begovic was good enough in goal to guide his team to a point. West Bromwich Albion will regret not finishing their chances, but they'll also be less than pleased with the officiating in the 0-0 stalemate.

West Bromwich Albion created enough chances to beat Stoke, but they were unable to finish them. Asmir Begovic had a good game in goal, helping the Potters secure a point.
Begovic came up with big saves on the only two big chances of the first half, both inside the half-hour mark. Stephane Sessegnon forced two Stoke defenders to fall down with a brilliant cutback in the box in the 18th minute, but couldn't beat Begovic one-on-one. Eight minutes later, the Stoke keeper had to rush off his line and make himself big to deny Morgan Amalfitano, who had gotten in behind the Potters' defense.
West Brom should have had a penalty in the 57th minute when Charlie Adam hauled down Youssouf Mulumbu, but the referee inexplicably waved play on. The Baggies’ best chance came in stoppage time when Sessegnon beat a couple of defenders to get himself one-on-one with Begovic in similar fashion to the chance he had in the first half, but the result was exactly the same.
