Real Madrid vs. FC Copenhagen: Preview and TV schedule

Real Madrid will look to move past their disappointing derby loss against Atlético Madrid as they welcome FC Copenhagen to the Bernabéu.

Real Madrid return to action hoping to put their El Derbi madrileño defeat behind them and earn three more points in their attempt to win the club's 10th European Cup.

Gareth Bale is once again unavailable for Los Blancos after he re-injured his thigh muscle in training. Carlo Ancelotti will likely give Angel Di Maria a start again on the right wing in place of the Welsh winger. Anything other than a win is basically unacceptable for Ancelotti after he was whistled as he left the pitch on Saturday.

Copenhagen’s league form at the start of the season has been quite poor but they pulled off a surprising 1-1 draw against Juventus in their group stage opener. To pull off a repeat performance at the Bernabéu will be a massive challenge, especially with Madrid smarting after their weekend loss.

Real Madrid injuries and suspensions

Out: Gareth Bale (thigh), Xabi Alonso (foot).

FC Copenhagen injuries and suspensions
