Things are getting ugly at home for the Seattle Sounders, who are now facing a seriously tough task to get themselves back into their playoff tie against the Portland Timbers. Darlington Nagbe has fired the visitors 2-0 ahead at CenturyLink Field, finishing off a very nice passing move.
Darlington Nagbe puts Seattle Sounders in big trouble
The Sounders have had most of the possession in this game, but haven't been able to create much of anything. This goal came after each team made a substitution, and they probably proved to be key in this one. Kalif Alhassan came on for Diego Valeri, who's nursing an injury, just minutes before this goal. That moved Nagbe inside from the right wing. Seattle completely re-arranged their formation before this, bringing on attacker Mauro Rosales for right back Zach Scott.
