Crystal Palace have a new manager. Nearly. We've known for some time that former Stoke City boss Tony Pulis would be taking the reins at Selhurst Park following the weird departure of Ian Holloway earlier in the month, but now we finally have some confirmation from the club:
Crystal Palace confirm Pulis appointment

Crystal Palace Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Tony Pulis as manager on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Pulis will take charge of the first team following today's game against Hull City, with caretaker boss Keith Millen remaining in the dugout at the KC Stadium.
Pulis' first game in charge will be a trip to Carrow Road as Palace take on Norwich City, and he will be taking the helm of a club that's mired in the relegation battle with just four points from the first eleven games. There's plenty of work to be done to see them to safety, but there's also plenty of season left for Pulis to pull off a great escape.
