The Seattle Sounders won't be happy with their performance or the result they got at home on Saturday night, but they're not going into the second leg with no hope. Thanks to Osvaldo Alonso, they're down one goal, not two, to the Portland Timbers.

The goal came off a big deflection, so it wasn’t exactly perfectly executed, but Alonso was in the perfect spot and his finish was a gorgeous one. Like he has many other times since joining the Sounders, Alonso has rescued something from a bad performance.
