The LA Galaxy got a 1-0 win in the first leg of their Western Conference semifinal, but now the tie moves to Salt Lake, where RSL is hoping to buck a trend of losing in knockout tournament matches. They have done it in the MLS playoffs, U.S. Open Cup and CONCACAF Champions League in recent years and the RSL faithful are hoping tonight won’t be another example.
Real Salt Lake vs. LA Galaxy: Lineups
The Galaxy will try to protect their 1-0 lead in Salt Lake, where someone is going to book their spot in the Western Conference final.

LA has their own trend they are hoping to turn around too. They have been dreadful away from home this season, especially at the back, where they have allowed 30 goals compared to just eight at home.
The Galaxy are going with their regular starting XI for this one, not making a single change from the team they used in the first leg, but RSL have made some changes. Salt Lake is reverting back to their normal 4-3-1-2 after trying a double pivot in the first leg with Robbie Findley getting the nod up front alongside Alvaro Saborio and Sebastian Velasquez sliding into the midfield for Ned Grabavoy.
Real Salt Lake: Nick Rimando; Tony Beltran, Chris Schuler, Nat Borchers, Chris Wingert; Kyle Beckerman, Luis Gil, Sebastian Velasquez; Javier Morales; Robbie Findley, Alvaro Saborio.
LA Galaxy: Jaime Penedo; Sean Franklin, Omar Gonzalez, Kofi Opare, Todd Dunivant; Robbie Rogers, Juninho, Marcelo Sarvas, Gyasi Zardes; Robbie Keane, Landon Donovan.
