Hull City vs. Liverpool: Preview and TV schedule

Liverpool will look to get back to winning ways against Hull City on Sunday, after being held by Everton in last weekend’s Merseyside derby.

Liverpool still hold onto second place in the Premier League table after drawing with Everton in last weekend's Merseyside derby, though have fallen four points off the pace of league leaders Arsenal. The good news: that gap should at least be no bigger by the end of round 13. The Reds make the short trip to Hull on Sunday, and ought to be able to get back to winning ways against Steve Bruce's newly-promoted outfit.

More from our team sites

Hull City have had a surprisingly impressive start to life in the Premier League, currently sitting in 13th place in the table. However, they've hit a rough patch of form, losing four of their last five league games, and Liverpool will likely have enough to inflict a second home defeat of the league season on their hosts.

The Tigers will be without Sone Aluko, Paul McShane, James Chester and Stephen Quinn through injury, while Brendan Rodgers has Sebastián Coates, Iago Aspas and José Enrique sidelined.

Hull City injuries and suspensions

Out: Sone Aluko (Achilles), Paul McShane (hamstring), James Chester (hamstring), Stephen Quinn (hamstring). In doubt: None.

Liverpool injuries and suspensions

Out: Sebastián Coates (knee), Iago Aspas (thigh), José Enrique (knee). In doubt: None.
