Arsenal vs. Chelsea: Lineups

Expect to see packed midfields at the Emirates.

Arsenal have made some changes to their team for their massive fixture against Chelsea on Monday from the one that lost to Manchester City just over a week ago. Theo Walcott, who has recently returned from injury, keeps his place in an attack-minded lineup, but the midfield has undergone a few changes. The suspended Jack Wilshere and Mathieu Flamini are out, with Tomas Rosicky and Mikel Arteta coming in. The positions of each Arsenal midfielder aren't clear, but don't be surprised if Rosicky starts next to Arteta, with Aaron Ramsey pushing farther up the pitch.

Chelsea has decided to pack the midfield, lining up in a 4-3-3 with John Obi Mikel, Ramires and Frank Lampard. There's no place for Juan Mata or Oscar, while Willian gets a nod in the front three over Andre Schürrle and Kevin De Bruyne. Fernando Torres has been given the start at center forward.

Arsenal starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Wojciech Szczesny; Kieran Gibbs, Thomas Vermaelen, Per Mertesacker, Bacary Sagna; Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky; Mesut Özil, Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott; Olivier Giroud

Chelsea starting lineup (4-3-3): Petr Cech; Cesar Azpilicueta, John Terry, Gary Cahill, Branislav Ivanovic; John Obi Mikel, Ramires, Frank Lampard; Eden Hazard, Fernando Torres, Willian

Kickoff is at 8 p.m. local time, 3 p.m. ET. You can catch the game on Sky Sports 1 in the United Kingdom and NBC Sports Network in the United States. It’s also streaming online on the streaming platforms of those two networks.
