Arsenal vs. Hull City: Final score 2-0, Gunners win again
Easy wins are becoming old hat for Arsenal, who got another on Wednesday.
If Arsenal wasn't convinced that they have Lady Luck on their side this season, they certainly did after two minutes when Niklas Bendtner, of all people put them in front. A gorgeous move down the right freed up Carl Jenkinson, who got to the endline before hitting a cross right onto Bendtner's head, allowing him to nod home from 5 yards for the Gunners' lead.
The Gunners' second tally was a thing of beauty as Aaron Ramsey played the role of helper for Mesut Ozil in a bit of a role reversal for the dynamic duo. Ramsey slipped a perfectly weighted ball in for Ozil, who had timed his run perfectly to get in behind the Hull defense and with one touch, he knocked the ball into the net for a 2-0 advantage.
Hull were always overmatched and could have given up a few more goals to Arsenal. That’s not to say they didn’t have a chance or two, because they did, but the Gunners were always on the front foot and were properly rewarded from their dominance with another three points.
