Torino vs Lazio, Preview and TV schedule

Torino have their tails up ahead of Lazio's visit. A crushing 4-1 victory over Catania was followed up by a 1-1 draw at Genoa last weekend, which leaves the Granata just a point below their visitors. Giampiero Ventura's side look to have finally found some form after an inconsistent start. The Catania victory may have been their first win in nine games, but Torino have proved hard to beat thus far.

Toro have lived up to their tag of "draw specialists," with half of their games finishing level. However, they were the first team to take points off AS Roma and will now look to take advantage of a Lazio side dangerously low on confidence.

The Biancocelesti went down to a 4-2 defeat at home to Napoli on Monday evening to heap more pressure on the shoulders of Vladimir Petkovic. Speculation about the Bosnian's managerial future continues to be a hot topic over in Rome, with Switzerland reportedly making overtures for him to become their new coach after next summer's World Cup.

Without a win domestically in five games, the under performing Eagles languish a full ten points off the European places - a far cry from this point last season, when they were challenging Juventus for the top spot. The club are still without the services of veteran striker Miroslav Klose due to a shoulder injury. He hasn't travelled along with Stefan Radu (thigh) and Alvaro Gonzalez (broken hand). Keita Balde and Hernanes are both in the squad despite carrying knocks and Giuseppe Biava could replace Michael Ciani in defence after the Frenchman's poor showing against Napoli.

Torino have reported a clean bill of health and will continue to rely on star man Alessio Cerci to get them the goals. So far, the Italian international hasn't disappointed, notching up eight strikes to lie second in the Serie A scoring charts. Strike partner Ciro Immobile is three goals behind him.
