David Villa out for Barcelona with kidney problem
David Villa is suffering from an infection related to kidney stones, and is likely to miss at least one game for Barcelona as a result.

The striker is currently undergoing treatment in a local hospital, with the club also confirming that the infection is a result of Villa suffering from the notoriously-painful problem of kidney stones, although the vast majority of sufferers go on to make a full and speedy recovery. Barcelona's next game is against Granada, and it seems that Villa will be forced to sit it out.
With Champions League clashes against A.C. Milan and three games against Real Madrid coming up, he will certainly be required to return soon, although the club only suggested he was a doubt for Granada, so it would be a surprise were he to miss any of those games.
Villa had seen himself sidelined at Barcelona last year as he also suffered a lengthy period out of action, and a loan move to Arsenal was heavily suggested in the January transfer window this year, but the former Valencia man is Barcelona's second top scorer, and could be vital as they look to hold things together in the run-in and progress against Europe.
