Barcelona vs. Real Madrid, 2013 Copa del Rey: Lineups

Lineups are out for today’s Copa del Rey semifinal second leg between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Find out who is starting in this massive El Clasico match-up.

Update: Real Madrid 3-1 Barcelona, full time.

It's almost time for the kick-off at the Camp Nou between Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Barcelona have put out a first choice lineup with the only major change being José Manuel Pinto starting in goal over Víctor Valdés. Since this is a traditional thing with Pinto starting all the Copa del Rey matches, it’s not a surprise at all. In front of Pinto is the cast of usual suspects you’d expect to see from a healthy Barcelona side these days.

Raphael Varane gets the start after his outstanding performance in the first leg. It's a bit of surprise with what's riding on this match for Jose Mourinho to trust in the 19-year-old defender but it worked well enough the last time. Pepe also doesn't start, allowing Sergio Ramos to stay central with Álvaro Arbeloa taking the fullback spot.

Barcelona starting lineup (4-3-3): José Manuel Pinto; Jordi Alba, Gerard Piqué, Carles Puyol, Dani Alves; Sergio Busquets, Xavi Hernandez, Cesc Fabregas; Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi, Pedro Rodriguez.

Real Madrid starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Diego Lopez; Fabio Coentrão, Raphael Varane, Sergio Ramos, Alvaro Arbeloa; Sami Khedira, Xabi Alonso; Cristiano Ronaldo, Mesut Özil, Angel Di Maria; Gonzalo Higuaín.
