Netherlands vs. Romania, 2014 World Cup Qualifying: Lineups

The Netherlands will be looking to preserve their perfect record in qualifier so far and secure their hold on first place in Group D. Louis van Gaal has made a single change from his side's win over Estonia last week with Rafael Van der Vaart replacing the injured Wesley Sneijder in the center of the midfield.

Adrian Mutu has been surprisingly dropped for Romania in favor of Cristian Tanase, while Florin Gardos takes over in the back line for Nicolae Goian. Romania is tied on points with Hungary and will hoping to get a result to keep pace with, or jump past Hungary into the playoff spot.

Netherlands starting lineup (4-3-3): Kenneth Vermeer; Daryl Janmaat, Stefan De Vrij, Bruno Martins Indi, Daley Blind; Kevin Strootman, Jonathan De Guzman, Rafael Van der Vaart; Jeremain Lens, Arjen Robben; Robin Van Persie.

Romania starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Costel Pantilimon; Razvan Rat, Gabirel Tamas, Florin Gardos, Vlad Chiriches; Alexandru Bourceanu, Mihai Pintilii; Adrian Popa, Gheorghe Grozav, Bogdan Stancu; Cristian Tanase.
