Real Betis looked dead in the water and on their to a second straight bad loss in the Seville Derby this season before staging a massive comeback to take a point against Sevilla.

Down three goals after 33 minutes, Real Betis staged a dramatic comeback to avoid their second straight embarrassing loss in the Seville Derby and take a point off their rivals Sevilla
Betis remain in sixth place, one point ahead of Malaga, but could drop behind the Anchovies depending on the outcome of their match this weekend.
The visitors got off to a flying start in the sixth minute when Jose Antonio Retes connected with Ivan Rakitic who sent a low shot past Adrián to put Sevilla up 1-0. Rakitic scored a second in the 19th minute on tapin after an excellent move and lay off from Álvaro Negredo.
There was nothing he could do, however, when Rakitic bagged his second of the match, Negredo laying off for the Croatia midfielder to tap in from close range in the 19th minute.
Reyes picked up a second assist after bombing down the left wing in the 33rd minute and firing a cross into Negredo who beat Ádrian to make it 3-0.
The rout was on...or so we thought.
Betis finally scored their opening goal two minutes before halftime when Dorian Pabon beat Beto with a lob shot drom just inside the Sevilla area. Nine minute sinto the second half Rubén Castro made it 3-2, finishing a penalty earned after Federico Fazio brought down Jorge Molina.
Things continued to go back for Sevilla in the 55th minute when Gary Medel was shown a straight red card after a hard challenge on Jose Canas.
Despite the man advantage it was looking as if Betis would not be able to find the equalizer until Nosa Igiebor stepped up and became the hero. Igiebor popped up in the box and headed home Castro’s desperation cross from the right side in stoppage time, completing the shocking comeback for Betis.
