The Granata have a nine point cushion over the relegation places, so won’t be looking over their shoulders just yet, although with six games left to play after this weekend, that situation could change quite quickly.
Roma come into the game on the back of a 1-1 Derby della Capitale draw with ten-man Lazio. The Giallorossi will be frustrated that they failed to find a late winner, but they are still well placed and lie just three points behind the Biancocelesti.
Daniele De Rossi limped out of Monday's derby and looks set to miss out, while Torino will be without injured duo Matteo Brighi and Valter Birsa, with Migjen Basha suspended.
Ivan Piris and Pablo Osvaldo are available after suspension for the visitors, but Osvaldo's future continues to be shrouded in mystery. After reportedly being spotted in London with his girlfriend, instead of cheering on his teammates in the derby, the player has also been involved in a locker room row with Nicolas Burdisso. Aurelio Andreazzoli has defended the player in public, but the striker is still being linked with a summer move and his participation in this game is questionable, having struggled so far to fit in with Andreazzoli's project.
The temperamental striker netted the first of two late goals when Roma won the reverse fixture 2-0 back in November. This meeting in Turin is the first in four years and you have to go all the way back to the 1990-91 season for the last Toro league victory over Roma in front of their own fans.
