Celta Vigo's fight against relegation took a turn for the worse with a home loss against Rayo Vallecano. Espanyol downed Osasuna and Valencia failed to retake fifth place, drawing against 10-man Valladolid. Here's a recap of all today's games in La Liga.
La Liga Sunday: Valencia surge into fifth with a last second winner
Celta Vigo’s relegation fight suffered a set-back while Valencia scored on the last kick of the game to defeat a 10-man Valladolid. Espanyol moved up the table some more with their win over Osasuna.

Celta Vigo 0-2 Rayo Vallecano
Rayo picked up their first away win in three months and kept in touch with the race for a Europa League spot thanks to a 2-0 victory over Celta Vigo. Celta had been buyoed by a draw against Barcelona last week but this loss keeps them in 19th, three points from potential safety.
Rayo took the lead early in the 14th minute when Lass made a nice move just inside the Celta box, evading a defender and crossing the ball. Piti was waiting and finished off the pass with a nice back-heel to give Rayo a 1-0 lead. Jose Manuel Casado’s cross in from the left wing was tapped in by Andrija Delibasic in the 83rd to secure the points.
Osasuna 0-2 Espanyol
Espanyol are all but safe for next year’s top flight after a 2-0 win over Osasuna today. Osasuna remain five points clear of the drop zone and while that will probably be enough, a few more points would make everyone feel better.
Héctor Moreno put Espnayol in the lead in the 51st minute, heading a Mubarak Wakaso corner past Andrés Fernández. Wakaso iced the result in second half stoppage time, scoring on a long shot from a tough angle that squeezed into the bottom corner.

Valencia 2-1 Real Valladolid
Valencia took the lead six minutes from halftme thanks to an own-goal. Mikel Balenziaga will be having nightmares after the ball deflected off the defender and rolled past Daniel Hernandez.
Valladolid looked great coming out of the locker room but things got dicey in the 57th minute. Henrique Sereno chopped down Roberto Soldado as be broke into the Valladolid box, earning Sereno his second yellow and a penalty for Valencia. Hernandez threw his team a lifeline though, saving Soldado’s penalty attempt and keeping the match at 1-0.
Valladolid took advantage of the save in the 72nd minute when Óscar González sent the ball rocketing into the upper corner off a low cross from the right wing by Antonio Rukavina.
Just went it looked like Valencia would squander the chance, they scored on the last kick of the game when Jonas headed on a cross by Jonathan Viera.
